Dilip Ghosh slams TMC over ICU assault; Alleges parallel rule outside the Bengal Govt

A family from Nalpa village in Garhbeta, Paschim Medinipur district, was on its way to take a holy dip at the Kumbh Mela. While traveling to Prayagraj, four members of the family lost their lives in a road accident in the Dhanbad area of Jharkhand. BJP central leader and former Lok Sabha MP from Medinipur, Dilip Ghosh, met with the bereaved family. Expressing his condolences, he assured them of his support.

Meanwhile, in a shocking incident at Diamond Harbour Hospital, a minor girl admitted to the ICU has allegedly been sexually assaulted by hospital staff. Commenting on this, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh said, "The Diamond Harbour model is a highly controversial issue." He alleged that a parallel administration is running outside the West Bengal government.

"If a minor girl is sexually assaulted in a place like a hospital, there can be nothing more horrifying or shameful than this. The accused are hospital employees, but I don't know if any action has been taken against them yet. However, such incidents are not new. Murders and rapes have become everyday occurrences in West Bengal. But gradually, it is becoming clear who is behind these incidents! TMC leaders are being caught, and charges are being filed against them. The very people who are supposed to protect—if they themselves turn into predators, how will the administration function?"
